Last updated: August 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sharivo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and services at sharivo.vercel.app (the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws worldwide.

1. Data We Collect

We collect minimal personal data necessary to provide the Service:

  • Google OAuth data: Your email address, full name, and profile image are obtained when you sign in with Google.
  • Platform credentials: When you connect social media platforms (Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord, Telegram, Reddit, Pinterest), the credentials you provide are stored in encrypted cookies on your device.
  • Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics data (page views, referrers, device type) via Ahrefs Web Analytics, Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, and IndexNow.
  • Post content: The text and images you compose for posting are transmitted directly to your selected platforms and are not stored on our servers after delivery.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): You consent to data collection when you sign in with Google and connect social platforms.
  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing is necessary to provide the Service you requested.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): We use anonymous analytics to improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To authenticate you and provide access to the dashboard.
  • To publish your posts to the social media platforms you select.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service.
  • To respond to your inquiries via the contact form.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with third-party services necessary to operate the Service:

  • Google: For OAuth authentication (email, name, profile image).
  • Selected social platforms: Your post content is sent to the platforms you choose.
  • Analytics providers: Ahrefs, Vercel, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, and IndexNow receive anonymous usage data.
  • Vercel: Our hosting provider processes data as a data processor under GDPR.

We may disclose data if required by law or legal process.

5. Data Retention

We store personal data for a maximum of one (1) month after your last interaction with the Service. After this period, your data is automatically deleted. Platform credentials stored in encrypted cookies are deleted when you clear your browser data or log out.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence (e.g., the United States via Google and Vercel). We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and adequate safeguards as defined by the GDPR for such transfers.
